** PLEASE NOTE: ALL CLASS ELECTIONS ARE HELD IN THE SPRING WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE FRESHMAN CLASS, WHICH IS HELD IN EARLY FALL.

• Campaign Paragraph:
  • You must write a short paragraph stating the office you are seeking and why you would like to be an officer.
• Campaign Photograph:
  • Your e-School photograph will be used on the ballots.
• Campaign Video:
  • Videos are optional.
  • If you decide to submit a video, you must do the following;
    • Your video must be between 45 - 60 seconds in length.
    • All videos need to be emailed to your class advisor for review.
    • All videos will be posted on Schoology / The Spring Valley High School Website / G.O. Instagram Page
    • Allvideos will be available for viewing during election week.
• Campaign Posters:
  • Campaign Posters are optional.
  •  All Campaign Posters must be approved by Class Advisor.
  • All Approved Campaign Posters will be displayed in the building during election week.

• Class Elections:
  • Class elections will take place virtually.
  • You are allowed to vote for your class only.
  • Voting will take place during the week of: TBD
  • Voting will close at 11:00 am on the Friday of election week.
• Winners:
  • Election Results will be announced;
  • At the end of the school day on the Friday of election week.

• President:
  • Is the Class spokesperson,
  • Sets the agenda for the class meeting with the advisors
• Vice President:
  • Assists the President,
  • Runs the class meetings with the advisors if the President is unable to attend.
• Treasurer:
  • Maintain an accurate account of financial records for their Class,
  • Signs off on all money transactions,
  • Assists the President and Vice President.
• Secretary:
  • Maintains and publishes meeting minutes,
  • Takes attendance at all Class Meetings,
  • Takes care of their Class correspondences,
  • Assists the President and Vice President
• Cultural Ambassador:
  • Must speak more than one language,
  • Can assist in translating pertinent information to their class,
  • Assists the President and Vice President.
